Colleen is the Director and founder of Created for Adventure, along with her husband David. 

Colleen and David were Trip Leaders together in Alaska back in 2002 and have been serving teens and going on adventures ever since. Colleen graduated from the University of Washington and currently lives with her family in Western North Carolina. She worked professionally in youth and family ministry for churches and camps for 10+ years. She has years of experience leading adventure and mission trips both domestically and internationally for teens.

Some of her favorite outdoor adventure experiences include sea kayaking in the San Juan Islands, summiting Mt Quandry, horseback riding in the Grand Tetons, hiking in the Hoh Rainforest, surfing in Hawaii, and skiing the Matterhorn in Switzerland.

She enjoys hiking, yoga, skiing, and drinking coffee. She and David are the proud parents of three teenage boys and a yellow lab.
