ALASKA
Will I have to carry all my gear on my back in Alaska?
No. We operate out of several basecamps throughout Alaska, so you won't be carrying all of your gear with you from place to place.
What is the weather like?
Average summer temperatures are around 60–80 degrees, with low humidity. Evenings can be cooler, with temperatures in the low to mid-40s.
What is a typical day like?
Mornings begin with a daily devotional before we head out for the day's adventure. In the evenings, we cook together and gather around a fire, beside a river, or even on a glacier for meaningful conversations during small group time.
Where will we stay in Alaska?
We'll experience three different basecamps during our Alaska adventure:
Eagle River Basecamp: After arriving in Anchorage, we'll head directly to our basecamp for a good night's sleep before beginning our adventures.
Matanuska Glacier Basecamp: Get to know your fellow adventurers, learn camp and cooking skills, experience a thrilling white-water adventure, and ice climb on the Matanuska Glacier.
Kenai Basecamp: Hike through the spectacular landscape, visit a wildlife center, and go whale watching in Prince William Sound.
HAWAIʻI
Where will I stay?
Our group will stay at a private, solar-powered retreat center on a 130-acre farm in Kauaʻi on the North Shore. The farm serves as a ministry that provides camps for local children throughout the year.
You'll sleep in bunk beds in a beautiful lodge with its own kitchen and living area. A covered patio provides the perfect place to eat together and enjoy views of the farm.

Average summer temperatures in Kauaʻi are around 80 degrees. The island's lush, tropical landscape means occasional rain—but you'll also experience plenty of sunshine and rainbows!
What is a typical day like?
Each morning begins with breakfast and a devotional before we head out for the day's adventures. Afternoons are spent exploring a new beach on Kauaʻi. In the evenings, we'll return to camp for dinner and meaningful conversations during small group time.
What will we do in Hawaiʻi?
We'll stay on a beautiful 130-acre farm surrounded by native flowers and trees, learn to surf on Kauaʻi's iconic North Shore, and snorkel along the breathtaking Nāpali Coast.
We'll also give back to the island by volunteering with a local food pantry and church, providing a unique opportunity to serve the land and community through ministries we're partnered with.
On our final evening, we'll sail into the sunset together as we reflect on the incredible adventures we've shared, the beauty of this magnificent world, and the Creator behind it all.
