Refund & Cancellation Policy
We accept online checks, VISA, MasterCard and Discover cards.
Payments: You have the option to pay in full, or you can pay the deposit and choose a monthly payment plan when you register.
Non-Refundable Deposit: The $500 non-refundable deposit is required at the time of registration. The deposit is not eligible for a refund under any circumstances.
Refund Period: If a cancellation occurs between January 1 and after March 1, 2024, Created for Adventure will refund 75% of the camp fees, excluding the non-refundable deposit.
Trip Fees Due Date: All camp fees must be paid in full by March 1, 2024. If the balance due is not paid in full by March 1st, your registration will be cancelled.
Created for Adventure must enforce our cancellation policy because trip expenses are incurred well in advance of summer, including, but not limited to vehicle rentals; non-refundable outfitter deposits, campground/lodging reservations; equipment and food purchase; and staff hiring and salaries. Many of these expenses are negotiation based on a total group number, rather than a per-person basis.
No refund will be granted to campers who remove themselves voluntarily or who are sent home because of unacceptable behavior or disciplinary reasons; poor physical condition; illness or injury; mental health concerns; prolonged homesickness; or because of a pre-existing medical or physical condition or injury that prevents them from completing the trip or activities on the trip/and or that was not disclosed to Created for Adventure. All additional travel, lodging, supervisory or any other expenses incurred by Created for Adventure are the responsibility of the family.
If you register after March 1st, full payment is required at the time of registration.
Created for Adventure will refund 100% of program fees (including your deposit) if Created for Adventure chooses not to operate or cancels your trip for any reason.
Trip Cancellation Insurance: Created for Adventure recommends that families purchase trip cancellation insurance. This insurance can provide coverage and financial protection in case participants need to cancel their camp plans for covered reasons.
Airline Tickets: It is required that students arrive and depart within the designated time frame. Please do not purchase airline tickets until we've contacted you and the trip has reached its required number of participants. Please see Travel Information for additional information.
Wait-list Policy
If a trip is full then you have the option to register your camper for the waitlist. You do not have to make a payment or a deposit in order to be on the waitlist. If a spot opens, you will be notified immediately if you are the first camper on the waitlist. Once you are notified, you will have 24 hours to register to secure your spot and make a payment. If you do not register within 24 hours, you will lose your spot and the next person on the wait list will be notified.
