Travel Information
Please do not book your child's flight until you receive an email from us (after you have registered) with information on the designated time frame for arrival and departure.
Check-In
Your adventure begins and ends at the AVL, Asheville Airport. If you are arriving by car, we will email you a specific location to meet in Western North Carolina.
Our staff team will meet students at a designated area within the airport. Our goal is to meet students at the gate. If this is not possible (due to airport policies), we will coordinate via cell phone our meeting location inside the airport. Our staff will constantly check for flight delays or changes in travel plans. Students are encouraged and expected to call their parents as soon as they land to confirm safe arrival. An email will be sent to all parents once everyone has checked in.
Check-Out
Our staff will ensure all students are on their flights and headed home before they depart. We will also ensure they navigate the airports together for safe and easy travel.
Early Arrival/Late Departure Procedure
Early and late arrivals do have a fee. If you cannot arrange your flights within our requested arrival and departure time frame, there is a $20 per hour fee for a staff member to be present with your camper until their airport drop-off, 2 hours before departure time. Campers will need additional money for food, entertainment, etc. as well.
