What Kind of Adventurer Are You?

Do you enjoy experiencing new things and seeing new places? Do you want to do everything you can in each place you visit? Are you immediately planning your next getaway the moment you return home, or maybe even while you’re still traveling? 

If the answer is yes, it is safe to say you are an adventurer! 

What will be your next adventure? How do you choose the right adventure? It depends, at least in part, on what type of adventurer you are.

Created for Adventure has adventure trips tailored toward several different types of adventurers, including:

  • High schoolers who are ready for a challenge
  • Middle schoolers who are ready to take the first step in adventure travel
  • Adults who are ready for the bike adventure of a lifetime
  • Youth group or school adventurers who are ready to see the world and grow together

High School Adventurers 

For teen adventures entering or continuing high school, we have several thrilling adventure options:

High School Teton - Yellowstone - Rockies Expedition

  • 9-12TH GRADE CO-ED EXPEDITION
  • 14 DAY EXPEDITION

These are three of the most iconic National Parks in the United States. In each park, students will explore many miles of protected wilderness, camp under the stars, and see wildlife like moose, bears, mountain goats, elk, and more!

Your teens will get to hike & whitewater raft in the beautiful Tetons and attend a rodeo in Jackson Hole. All the while, they will be learning leadership skills, making new friends, and growing closer to God.

High School Alaskan Adventure

  • 9-12TH GRADE CO-ED EXPEDITION
  • 14 DAY EXPEDITION

Your teenagers will tent camp in a few of Alaska's most picturesque locations, including Denali National Park. While making new friends, they will get to go trekking, explore glaciers, experience ice climbing, whitewater rafting, and much more.

They will take a boat to the Kenai Fjords National Park to see orcas, humpback whales, seals, and other wildlife.

Opportunities are available for all skill levels in this experience. While they are exploring Alaska, your teens will also be learning technical skills like backcountry cooking, orienteering, and wildlife safety.

High School Hawaii Adventure-Kauai

  • 9-12TH GRADE GIRLS
  • 9-DAY ADVENTURE

For girls in grades nine through twelve, you can’t beat an adventure to Kauai, Hawaii. 

Your teens will find the beaches of Kauai are perfect for horseback riding, while the Hanalei River is perfect for kayaking or paddle boarding with your teen. They will go swimming on their beach days. They will have the chance to visit the Waimea Canyon and many more gorgeous places. All the while, they will be making lifelong friendships and learning all sorts of skills. 

High School Hawaii Adventure-Kauai

  • 9-12TH GRADE CO-ED 
  • 9-DAY ADVENTURE

Your teens will stay at two private basecamps located in the mountain and by the sea to fully experience all that Kauai has to offer. They will go on several hikes into the beautiful Waimea Canyon, which is known as the ‘Grand Canyon of the Pacific.’ The group will also have plenty of time to explore the sea by snorkeling and hiking along the Napali Coast, as well as surfing and kayaking in Hanalei.  

High School Hawaii Adventure-Oahu

  • 9-12TH GRADE
  • 9 DAY ADVENTURE
  • Girls-only and Co-ed options

While searching for sea turtles, dolphins, unique fish, and other marine life, your kids will have the opportunity to learn to surf, sail, and snorkel. They will go swimming next to a waterfall with their new buddies and go hiking with breathtaking island views. Dinner at a luau in Hawaii will cap off a memorable week spent together.

8-9th Grade Adventurers

Teton Trailblazer

  • RISING 8TH-9TH GRADE
  • 7 DAY ADVENTURE

Designed to help younger adventures get their feet wet, the Teton Trailblazer is perfect for explorers in their early teens. Your rising 8-9th grader will begin their adventure in Jackson, Wyoming making camp in the Grand Teton National park.  

In the Grand Teton National Park, they will go on day hikes, white water rafting, and horseback riding excursions. They will learn skills that will help them in life and on adventures in the future.

Bike Denali

Bike Denali is a challenging yet rewarding adventure that takes you to the center of Denali National Park.

Find yourself biking in the shadow of Mount Denali: the largest mountain in North America, towering 20,300ft in our country’s most remote wilderness. The bike ride travels along the 92-mile Park Road to Wonder Lake. We provide everything you will need for an unforgettable two-wheel tour of stunning Alaska.

With morning devotional time and small groups, we offer a beautiful space in which teens AND adults can grow!
