What Is a Day Like on an Alaskan Expedition?
Each day begins with a cup of coffee or some hot chocolate, and a hearty breakfast. Campers start their mornings with a devotional before getting ready for the day's activities. A different group of students is responsible for organizing and carrying out a series of tasks, such as cooking, navigating, cleaning equipment, and more.
We have daily team meetings to get ready for our next big adventure. We take time off to relax and spend time together so that we can do things like wash our clothes and take showers on rest days. Each evening we are around a fire, next to a river, or on a glacier and share great conversations during our small group time.
