OAHU GIRLS ADVENTURE
June 9-17, 2023

OAHU CO-ED ADVENTURE
June 18-26, 2023

Your teen will have the opportunity to pick up surfing, sailing, and snorkeling skills as they explore the ocean in search of sea turtles, dolphins, tropical fish, and more! Our group will camp just a matter of a few steps from the ocean on Oahu's North Shore.

We will climb to an overlook with stunning island views and swim beneath a waterfall. The crew will paddle to a secluded island in Oahu for a delightful picnic dinner. Your teenager and their new friends will celebrate the conclusion of a wonderful week together at a luau.

The Staff at Created for Adventure

All staff is selected through a rigorous selection process, including background checks, experience level, references, face-to-face interviews, and much more. They are consistent with our goals, statement of faith, and philosophy. Our staff members want to assist campers on their spiritual journey and lead them on amazing adventures.

What Will Your Teenagers Do at Adventure Camp?

Just a few of the activities your teenagers will embark on include:

  • Snorkel/sailing trip
  • Surf Lessons
  • Sea Kayaking
  • Beach Days
  • Waterfall swimming
  • Hiking
  • Hawaiian Luau
  • Wildlife viewing: sea turtles, dolphins, horses, tropical fish and reefs, birding, monk seals, etc.
  • Morning Daily Devotional Time
  • Optional Yoga
  • Evening Small Groups

Where do we sleep?

Near the coast, you'll spend the night in a tentalo. Wooden platforms with a canvas top are known as tentalos (similar to a Yurt). Your teens can listen to the ocean and feel the breeze as they will be sleeping just a few steps from the shore.

What type of weather should they prepare for?

On Oahu in Hawaii, the daily summertime high is roughly 85 degrees. Our camp is situated on the beach, so the evenings are usually colder and windier. We advise bringing a sweater!

How would an average day be?

Every morning we begin with coffee and breakfast. Campers can start their days with a devotional and a yoga flow class as well. Then we'll go off on our adventure for the day as a group! Every day in Oahu is spent visiting a different beach. Every night at camp, we eat dinner and enjoy stimulating conversations in small groups.
