Where will we stay?
Our group will be camping at a group site in the Grand Teton National park. We will use this as our basecamp to go on day hikes, horseback ride, and whitewater raft the Snake River.
What is the weather like?
The average daily summer temperatures are around 70 degrees with low humidity. Evenings can be cool with lows in the 30-40s.
What is a typical day like?
Mornings begin with a daily devotional and then campers get ready for the next adventure. Students rotate as a group each day to plan and perform needed tasks such as cooking, navigating, gear cleaning and more. Daily team meetings help us prepare for the next great adventure. Each evening we sit around a fire or next to a lake for great conversations during our small group time.
We will begin our adventure at our group campsite in the Grand Teton National Park.
After a good night’s sleep, we will enjoy a hot breakfast at camp. Our group will take a boat across Jenny Lake and hike to see waterfalls, rivers, and spectacular mountain views.
The next day we will experience a beautiful horseback ride to explore more of the Grand Teton National Park.
Our group will hike to a beautiful mountain lake and we’ll reward ourselves with an ice cream cone! We will later go whitewater rafting down the Snake River. You and your new friends will have a restful morning at a mountain lake, and then attend a rodeo and go out to dinner to celebrate our amazing adventure together.
