Mims Weldon

Mims is a graduate from Wofford College, where she studied both English and Religion. She grew up attending summer camp her whole life and has spent the past several summers serving on staff at Camp St. Christopher on Seabrook Island, SC.

Mims is open-water life guard certified and has experience leading a multitude of outdoor activities including sailing, kayaking, rock climbing and hiking. Mims shared that “camp is where I met Jesus, my lifelong friends, and really learned the impact of relational ministry.”

She loves to travel and has spent an extensive amount of time exploring Italy, Prague, England, and France. Mims is currently working at St. Philip's Church in Charleston, South Carolina, coordinating all events.

Mims shared that she “tries to spend as much time as I possibly can in the sunshine by the water! She spends most of her time with friends, walking by the water, trying out new restaurants, playing pickleball, and reading.

Mims is “so excited to be a part of Created for Adventure, and to get to spend time forming relationships in God's creation!”
