David is our Trip Leader for our 2023 Oahu Co-Ed Adventure. He has lived overseas for 5 years and two of those years served in the Peace Corps. David currently lives in Hendersonville, NC.

He has traveled across the world including a recent trip to Rwanda for 10 days last summer.

David has been an educator for over a decade including two years as an environmental educator leading youth on backpacking and international trips.

David is passionate about “building community and connecting youth with nature.”

In his spare time, David enjoys hiking through Western North Carolina, reading a good book, and throwing aces in disc golf.
